Cub Scouts Adventure Hike at Riverview Park

Welcome back to a new Scouting year! Join us for a Get-To-Know-You night and trail hike at the park. We'll equip the Scouts with essential outdoor gear, learn about trail safety, and head out on a short nature hike with a fun observation challenge along the path.

Why Join

Scouting helps kids grow by doing.

Cub Scouts is built around hands-on adventures, family involvement, and age-appropriate activities that help children practice character, citizenship, leadership, and personal fitness.

1

Make Friends

Scouts meet in grade-level dens and larger Pack gatherings, giving kids a familiar place to belong and try new things together.

2

Build Confidence

Adventures, badges, and small responsibilities help Scouts see progress and learn that effort matters.

3

Get Outside

Outdoor skills, camp activities, hikes, games, and simple family adventures are a core part of the Cub Scout experience.

4

Serve Locally

Scouting gives kids practical ways to help others, practice respect, and become more connected to their community.

Meeting Rhythm

Simple, consistent Monday meetings.

The full Pack and grade-specific dens normally meet on most Mondays during the school year. Families are welcome to visit and see whether the Pack is a good fit.

Dens

Grouped by grade

Den groups are organized by grade so Scouts can work on age-appropriate Cub Scout adventures together.

Pack

Families together

Pack meetings bring dens and families together for activities, recognition, service, and seasonal events.

Parents

Part of the program

Cub Scouting is volunteer-led. Parents and guardians help make meetings, outings, and activities work.
